The PowerSkate Coach Program prepares coaches to develop hockey and ringette players at the Learn to Train stage of LTD. The program serves as a transition out of CanSkate, to further develop sport-specific skating skills. Coaches going through the PowerSkate pathway will explore the delivery of the program and can utilize what they have learned to customize an advanced delivery of power skating. PowerSkate Coaches are qualified to coach the PowerSkate program.
Pre-Requisites
- Be a current Skate Canada registrant with a Skate Canada Club or a registered Coach in good standing.
- Be minimum 15 years of age.
- Has a Skate Canada CanSkate Coach, Hockey Canada, or Ringette Canada NCCP Status.
- Has completed the following Skate Canada eLearning training:
Please note you may complete the course registration prior to completing the Skate Canada eLearning training. The Skate Canada eLearning training must be complete a minimun of one (1) week prior to the course.
Registration Fee $300.00
Maximum 18 participants.
